THICK
premiered at the 2003 Edinburgh Fringe and was pick of the festival in the List, Sunday Times Critics Choice and received 5 star reviews in Fest and Three Weeks. The Scotsman said,
"Aside from the virtuoso performances, the real genius lies in the plays ability to flit between absurd humour and heart wrenching pathos"
THICK played at the 2005 Fringe NYC where it sold out its run. It was Critics Choice in New York Magazine two weeks running. The New York Sun said,
"There may be only three actors, but with material this good, they create an entire heartbreaking world.'
Rick Bland won the award for Outstanding Actor at the 2005 Fringe NYC.
THICK toured the UK in 2005. Playing for 3 weeks at the Croydon Warehouse as well as Bath Theatre Royal Studio, The Point, Litchfield, Loughborough. The Birmingham Evening News said,
"It is funny, sad, at times moving and beautifully crafted and acted - a gem of theatre.'
